MINI Motoring Cup Winner
Sewell MINI of Plano has won the MINI Motoring Cup for the Southern Region in the first quarter of 2014! The MINI Motoring Cup is awarded to the one dealer in each region in the United States that has the highest cumulative customer satisfaction score. The scoring weights are distributed as follows: 50% Service Premium, 35% New Vehicle Sales and 15% MINI NEXT Certified Pre-Owned Sales.
Excellence in Sales: Number One in Customer Satisfaction
Sewell MINI of Plano has been awarded the prestigious Excellence in Sales distinction for the first time by BMW of North America, LLC. Out of 472 North American MINI and BMW dealership applications, only seven national Excellence in Sales honors were presented this year. Sewell MINI of Plano was the only MINI dealership in the country to be awarded this honor.
BMW of North America, LLC awarded the Number One In Customer Satisfaction distinction to Sewell MINI of Plano after analyzing each dealership's process for taking care of customers. Sewell MINI of Plano's exceptional car wash facility, customer lounge amenities (which includes an arcade), speed at which vehicles are serviced in the body shop, and the added convenience of complimentary loan cars earned top honors. Sales performance and scores from customer satisfaction surveys were also taken into consideration.
IntelliChoice Best Overall Value Award: 2013 MINI Cooper Convertible
The 2013 MINI Cooper Convertible won the Intellichoice Best Overall Value Award in the convertible category. Each year, IntelliChoice compiles and analyzes data on every new model sold in the U.S., to identify those that not only have low total ownership costs, but also lower than expected costs over time when compared to other similar models, the company said.
MINI Cooper = Anti-Establishment King (Motor Trend)
The MINI Cooper was named "Anti-Establishment King" in the February 2012 issue of Motor Trend Magazine. Motor Trend went on a search for the "oddball" vehicle that had the best combination of looks, handling, fuel economy, and value - and the MINI Cooper came out on top. The MINI Cooper is summed up as: "Handling dream, usable seats, quirky everything, and good fuel economy - the MINI does it all."
In recent testing, the 2012 MINI Cooper Countryman has earned the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's (IIHS) designation as a "Top Safety Pick" for achieving "Good" ratings for front, side, rollover, and rear impact protection.
In addition, The 2012 MINI Cooper Hardtop, Convertible, and Countryman each won the Edmunds.com Best Retained Value Award in their respective categories.
